4:00 – 4:45 pm EST – HIPAA Administration - Prior Authorization & Referrals (278) Rule Making – The CAQH CORE Prior Authorization & Referrals (278) Infrastructure Rule aligns with other federally mandated infrastructure rules and specifies authorization requirements. The prior authorization operating rules address a pressing need to improve automation and timeliness of the prior authorization process. Learn about what may be in the proposed rule and how in June 2020, CAQH CORE sent a letter updating NCVHS on the restricting of the operating rules and the impact on the proposed rule set and outcome of the NCVHS Hearing on the proposed rule package.
