Transparency

What is Price Transparency in Care?

The lack of transparency in the cost of health care services has become a major problem today, as has the inconsistency in the way the same procedures are priced from location to location. This has led to outrageous amounts being billed for care across all different specialties. At SPBA, we continue to advocate on behalf of consumers and encourage change at the regulatory level. Our goal is to push for a system that is transparent about actual care costs, eliminates preferential treatment with varying and often hidden discount arrangements and allows people to comparison shop for the best options for them based on quality and price.
